Our first

Well it became official this morning at 1:30 am that Hunter had a stomach virus of some kind. I had mentioned yesterday that he had some runny diapers. Well these stopped however, he was eating nothing, so...

For most of the day he acted fine, I checked his temperature numerous times. After the febrile seziure thing, I take no chances. The kid looks hot I am liable to administer Tylenol or Ibuprofen! There were a few times yesterday that he seemed a little less active than normal but really besides not eating he acted fine. Then last night he did have a small runny diaper before bedtime.

At 12:30 he woke up fussy and whiny so I brought him into our bed. He kept trying to tell me something but he is 21 months old so I could not really understand him. I now think he was trying to tell me his belly hurt. He rolled over on his belly and proceeded to go to the bathroom loudly (sorry for yucky descriptions, I don't know how to put it any nicer, it is what it is). So, I take him to the changing table thinking that he will now feel better and we all can get some sleep.

His dirty diaper is off, and that is when I notice the strange motion with his mouth, I knew what was coming! Yes, my son had his first puke! Bless his little heart. He did cry but after Brad got up and got his pacifier cleaned off and back to him he was okay with the events.

I have always been a sympathetic puker when the smell is bad enough. I had high hopes that when it was my child this would change. Nope! I did not actually throw up but I came close and Brad had to do the clean up. I don't suppose I should expect any wholesale fashion jewelry for that.

Hunter then watched some Kipper and went to sleep which he is still doing. Of course, I will hold him out of Mother's Day Out today so he will have to go with me to my doctor's appt. You can read more on that over at my other blog Creating Life.

Both of my twin girls were throwing up last weekend! It was horrible, so I completely feel your pain. Hope he is feeling better now and everyone is in good health!
