Let your voice do the typing...

As a blogger, I type a lot of words. And a lot of those words, I type several times either because I misspell them or simply mistype them. There is a product out there, Dragon NaturallySpeaking 10 Standard, that could make all of this simpler.

Dragon NaturallySpeaking types the words that you speak and it does it 3 times faster than you can type! The accuracy rate is 99%! The special headphones keep background noises from being an issue! This would be a must at my house, between the dog barking, little one always yelling "Mama" and the work they are doing on the house next door, it can be pretty loud in my office.

Now, you do have to get used to saying punctuation with this resource. However, I am sure it is not hard to get in the habit. Just remember not to do it when talking face to face!

There is also the Dragon Naturally Speaking 10 Preferred. This version has new features such as searching the Internet, Bluetooth capabilities, and you can dictate on the go using the Nuance hand hand held device that syncs with your computer. I can see it now. I come up with a blog post while I am waiting in line to pick Hunter up from Mother's Day Out, I just dictate it to my little hand held and when I am home, I sync it up and it types my post! Pretty cool!
