I feel like I am always the last to know. I have seen those "I Do Follow" signs and thought that it meant if I comment on your page you will come and see mine and probably comment as well.
As usual I was wrong. Apparently, with a lot of blogging templates the comment section is set up to "no follow". So when you are out there spreading the love and leaving comments the googlebot is not picking that up.
I was dropping cards and came up on this article at Snapshot. Apparently the I Do Follow movement was started at Randa Clay Designs and it is explained very well there.
You can click on either of the links above to find how to change your template in blogger or wordpress.

So glad ya follow!
lmao, well, you are not alone! That's what I have always thought it meant too! I had no idea!
Thank you for posting this! I have taken that part out of my code now too!
I never really knew what any of these statements me, u comment, I follow, you drop, I follow, etc. Sometimes people have widgets, sometimes they don't. If I like something, I comment, if not I go ahead and drop and pass on by. You comments caught by attention. thanks.
lol, i had no idea too, i'm going to check it now, thanks ;)
Wow, nice post, iT is good to follow always.
Thanks,
Have a wonderful life.
Best wishes from coolingstar9
I thought that too at first and had the u comment I follow thing too until someone told me what it really means. I don't know how he could tell I didn't have this thing removed from my template, but any way I tried removing but I think I screwed up my whole template, and my comments are not really u comment I follow so I removed the widget. Even though I still try to practice it. Maybe I'll look at this link you gave. (Sorry for the long message - lol)
i always think its rude not to follow. i always follow! (sounds like something toilet wise haha!)
i like Hunters goregous new pic
I thought the same thing!
Yep you have to take out something from the code in your template. I did that a long time ago. I can't remember exactly what it was though. Thanks for the link I think that will help others.
all the while i thought i am the only who thought of that. you're right, there were some who put those "no comment, i follow" yet never to get to follow. i don't know what they were thinking actually. (",)
oh! i got it wrong. what was i thinking earlier? hehe. sorry about that. just got myself enlightened after reading the post at snapshotcap. :)
That's good to know! :)
I've always wondered about that link.
