June 26th, 2008 is my 4 year wedding anniversary, so here are 13 things about my wedding.

1. I only tried on 1 wedding dress, I was so pleased that I loved it, I am not a big fan of trying stuff on!!!
2. We had a rather large wedding party partly due to having so many close friends and relatives that we would rather have everyone involved than leave anyone out.
3. I let my Mother make a lot of the decisions, I trusted her taste and judgment. I was given veto power.
4. The songs played prior to the seating of my grandmother were -
Instrumental of "Love Song" by Tesla (also played at my brother's wedding - we like that song)
"Close to you" by The Carpenters
"Longer" by Dan Folgelberg (That may have been played at my brother's wedding - our Mom turned us on to Dan, we love him)
"Your Song" by Elton John
"Maybe I'm Amazed" by Paul McCartney
"In My Life" by the Beatles (although it was the Johnny Cash version I was listening to when I chose it.)
5. "Annie's Song" by John Denver was played in loving memory of my Uncle Jerry Sadler, he had performed that song at a friend's wedding. (I really miss him and wish he could have been there, he would have been proud. All three of his children were in the wedding party.)
6. "You Raise Me Up" by Josh Grobin was sang in loving memory of my 3 lovely grandparents. Again 3 more people that would have been very proud of me and whom I wish could have been there.
7. My Mom's sister played the piano and my Mom's twin brother played the violin as the mother's were seated. They played "Legends of the Fall" by Ungar
8. It rained and was overcast for a lot of the day. My wedding was inside but the seating for the reception was outside, I was tense about that. However, it turned out to be a lovely evening, with a pink sunset to boot!

9. The preacher who married us, who had been youth minister during my youth made a joke during the ceremony that Brad would lead an interesting life marrying me.
10. My cousin, who was also a bridesmaid made my cake.

11. I still have boxes and boxes of napkins. The place we ordered from put our names straight instead of at an angle and that would have been fine but before they told us they redid them correctly. So, I have all the ones that were done incorrectly...
12. I absolutely loved my shoes.

13. I would do it all again and again. There is honestly not much I would change about my wedding. After 4 years, I love you more than the day we married and look forward to the next 44 plus!!! Happy Anniversary Brad!

Happy Anniversary! Lovely pictures.
It's neat when the person doing the marriage knows the couple enough to joke! Great photos, and glad to hear that your marriage is still going strong. Happy TT!
June is such a lovely time for weddings. Yours looks beautiful, especially that sunset picture. I'm not a big fan of trying things on myself; I wore my mother's wedding dress, myself. I just wrote a post about seing one of my former elementary students get married on Saturday. Anyways, Happy Anniversary!

Your wedding looked gorgeous. It rained on my wedding day, too, so whoever said rain on a wedding day is bad luck was wrong!
