Cleaning, not my forte

I am sure that my regular readers (okay possibly reader) knows that I have issues with cleaning. I do not enjoy it, and even when I do it I never feel like my house is clean.

Well I have decided that maybe it is because really when it comes down to it my house is never clean. So, on this note I am taking a new approach, I am going to (the best I can) truly clean each room.

I have started in the kitchen. I have taken stuff out of the kitchen that does not need to be there. For example, I am a knick-knack person however my kitchen is the size of a matchbox so things that would be cute in a big nice kitchen are just taking up counter space in mine. Now, I did not get rid of all these things, some I did, but some I kept for that day I have a nice big kitchen.

I wiped everything down and it already looks so much better. I still want to go through the cabinets and purge and clean there but it is a step forward. So by the time I get the last room done (some time in 2010) it will be time to start on the kitchen again!!!!
