Not to long ago I posted about my make shift water park for Hunter. You can read about it here. So I got tired of carrying out pitchers of water and the other day I bought a tiny little pool for $4.00. Today we tried it out. Hunter loved it...

Thanks to tips from Kelsey at My Sweet Life I got down on Hunter's level to take these pics.
Now on to a less fun topic, the vaccum. I bought this vaccum a while back and was very excited. It is not one of those fancy over $300 numbers, actually it was about $90 but for me this was big. Now let me say that we have hardwood floors, 1950's hardwood so it never seems clean. So actually as far as vaccuming I have 3 rugs but with a shedding dog and a toddler a decent vaccum seems important.
I was very excited when I got it and it worked wonderfully for a month or so. Then it just didn't seem to picking up as much. I bought new filters and that helped with the suction but the cup that you empty just never had much in it. To look at the rugs after they were vaccumed, I could tell I had run it but it still didn't feel right.
My Mom used it a couple of weeks ago and I think she felt the same way. She will probably e-mail that she did. She reads my blog but I am not sure she knows how to comment.
Anyway, today I decided to do a little detective work. OH MY GOODNESS!! I could feel the back up in the hose. So I proceeded to use various and assundry methods to work this "clog" out. After about an hour I finally freed the obstructions. If not for embarrassment I would have taken a picture. So now it is like I have a new vaccum again!

The simple things are always the most fun i think. When you pay pay out loads money for something they play with it once and then dont bother again!
