Steeplechase and Mother's Day

Just wanted to wish all the Mother's a Happy Mother's Day!!!

We had a great time at Steeplechase yesterday. None of the horses I had picked won but it was still big fun. Just like last year we had so much food. We took some of those chicken minis from Chick-fil-A. If you are ever in need of something to take to a potluck, finger food type of gathering and don't want to make anything, take these. They are definately a crowd pleaser.

There were a lot of people there. There seems to be a lot of college aged kids. And these kids have absolutely no care for the mess that leave. Hubby managed to pick up four large trash bags full of aluminum cans. People left coolers, tables all kinds of stuff. It really could have made me more disgusted but I just had to let it go and say that at least that ensured someone a job...
