Nice weekend

As I am typing I am uploading some pics and a video. I hope that I can get the video to post and work - we will see.

We had a nice weekend. Friday night Brad got to burn his brush pile and that made him happy. You can see a picture on his blog.

Saturday I lazily did some things around the house and Brad tore down the eyesore shed in the back yard/field. I think I will eventually just call it the backyard but for now I still struggle with what to call it. Saturday night we went to eat at a new Mexican restaurant it was pretty good. I think Brad thought more of it than I did. I stepped out of the box on what I ordered so that may have been why I thought it was just OK...

Sunday after church we went to Wal-mart and I finally finished buying flowers and such for the outside -- Oh I forgot on Saturday my Mother's Day present came, it was a baker's rack for the deck. I will try and snap some shots this week and get them on here.

So after Walmart we went home and started getting ready for a few folks to come over that afternoon. We had a nap issue and I had a small meltdown and had Brad call people and push the time back an hour. All in all it worked out and I actually was ready by the original 3 o'clock time but it was nice to have the hour to just relax and get a few more things done.

The kids seemed to have a good time. Hunter was not exactly himself, I think we are having some molar pain. At 4 this morning he ended up in our bed. So I now going to try the video. It is of Hunter on the race car toy one of the kids brought over. They said that Jonas is about to outgrow so I hope they remember how much Hunter enjoyed it. Now, if he could just learn to steer!
