Can I be a Green Mommy?

I have posted on going green before, and what it means to me, see here. However, I was sent a message from Green Mommy Guide the other day to check out their web site and join their blog roll and I did not even have to be a green mommy to do so.

So, as a refresher for my 2 readers from several months ago and to let the couple of newbies know what I currently do to try and be green here goes...

We recycle aluminum, cardboard and plastic bottles. By using a Brita water filter pitcher we don't have to many plastic bottles. I have also started using recycled garbage bags. I recently bought the green bags that make fruit and veggies last longer so there is less waste. We also have a garden to grow a lot of our veggies. I have started trying to go to the farmers market once a week to do the best I can at buying local. I have also started using reusable bags at the grocery store...

As I have posted before, I don't know that as humans we affect global warming or not, there are a lot of scientist that say we don't. I do know that God has given us a beautiful place to live and we should do what we can to take care of it.
